My, how time flies.
CF2015 has come and go (CF stands for Comic Fiesta, Malaysia's annual largest comic convention), and to everyone who dropped by the Rosafyrwing booth, thanks for coming!
Overall, the new venue at the Mines wasn't so bad (all these while we've been having it at KLCC), except for the insane heat generated by the single huge spotlight where our table was located at; next year let's hope we get a better table spot, like, at least 10m away from that dastard spotlight.
Also, something interesting happened whereby some of our stock went missing at the end of CF Day 1,
it was funny enough for me that I did a 4-koma to illustrate the situation : The Case of the Missing Esper
I posted it onto FB rather than dA because I doubt anyone here's gonna get the running-in-joke.
But that being said, if anyone's interested to see the full version of that crossover....drop me a comment here.
Or there on FB. If it gets enough interest, I just might go finish it.
That being said, next year the group we'll be bringing new things to the table. I myself will be bringing some new artworks (which of course, you'll see it first here on dA), and after 3 years now, I'm gonna retire the DMC brothers from our group display, it's been a good ride and all, and these guys need rest; there will be a new display, what that is, we'll reveal in next year's CF...
For now, let's greet the new year with renewed vigour, and thanks again for the support to myself and Rosafyrwing,
it means a lot to us. Stay awesome guys!

SeiPearLou : From Meme to Photostory
What started as a simple single shot (as shown below) to recreate an existing meme, became a full-blown self-sustaining photostory because me and a couple of mutuals in Final Fantasy and figure collecting got very very carried away ๐ You can check out the main photostory and its additional parts in the same deviation above here. Hope you enjoyed reading them as much as I had fun editing and putting them together into his comic-page format :XD: - Winterfyre
Star-Crossed Lovers
This photostory took 5 years to be told. But better late than never at all. I've placed all the links to all 6 pages in the main cover deviation below, and you can also read what happened and why 5 years in the deviation's description: Now that I've told their story, my job is now done, and I am fulfilled. I hope you enjoyed reading them as much as I had putting them together. -Winterfyre
AsmusToys Vote Campaign -Revisit-
To catch up on what I'm talking about: The last known traction I got was a whole 2 weeks ago. Now the number sits squarely at the unbudging 50, despite my consistent posting in various places (FB, IG, TW, dA). Previously I was quite optimistic that things would pick up- now it seems I've been deluding myself, thinking that people would actually go out to support the work of someone they knew (or at least liked the works enough to support). Well, the recent outcome has proven me wrong. Not the first time humanity disappointed me on things, though ngl, I was expecting the outcome to be better than this. Will I still continue shoot and post? Yes - toy photography is my one therapeutic outlet, and I ain't gonna give it up now. Will I still join future competitions? I'll have to study the structure of the competition more thoroughly now before diving into it; I'm very anal when it comes to art competitions (which is why I don't participate much), and looks like I'll have to apply the
AsmusToys Vote Campaign!
ICMYI, my entry has been shortlisted for AsmusToys' "Show Us Your Hero" Contest! Originally held on a 3rd party platform, AsmusToys has shifted the vote campaign to Facebook directly. Now it's much easier - you just need to sign in to your FB account, hit the link below and 'Like' the image! Done! https://www.facebook.com/asmustoy/photos/a.10150233219336968/10157185699121968/ Some FAQs below (assuming you wanna know more before hitting the 'Like' button) AsmusToys? Who's that? If you're wondering who's AsmusToys, they're the toy-making folks from Taiwan, who is licensed to produce 1/6 posable figurines of characters from the DMC universe. Why do you want to win? A little back story: My first time entering a toy photography competition was for the Fanforge Nendoroid toy photography competition back in April, hosted by FanForFans and GoodSmile (GSC). Technically, most of the pros (and amateurs) lost to some Nendo-ful account (GSC is biased, we all acknowledged that). But it was
